Right so on my monk i currently have

Healing Prayers 4 + 3
Smiting Prayers 12 + 3
Protection Prayers 9 + 3 + 1
Divine Favour 5 + 3

[Protective Spirit][Shield of Absorption][Shielding Hands][Healing Breeze][Shield of Judgement][Symbol of Wrath][Essence Bond][Balthazar's Spirit]

I can't seem to do enough damage, any dont know what to do about it. Was possibly thinking about SS but im told it's not that effective in hard mode.

Any help with the build would be nice (skill suggestion/attributes/secondary profession change)

Change your attribute distribution. You have both Shielding Hands and Shield of Absorption, so your Protection Prayers don't need to be that high. Start by exchanging Smiting and Protection, and then continue to tweak for breakpoints.

SS is effective in hard mode. You can reduce scatter by standing next to a wall on your right, since AI turns left by default.

SS is effective when you have more than 6 or 7 monsters, i think, maybe more. Up till then, you can use SV.

You really don't need SS as SoJ should be enough and drop essence bond as balthazar spirit is enough.Secondaries to consider are /mes for manta of resovle and arcane echo,/W for bonetti's defence or riposts,/e for shockwave ,sliver armour and /d for mystic regen.

switch to a smite helm
get rid of symbol of wrath esp in hm - scatter
give us a clue as to what your trying to farm
sound like your getting out healed while SoJ recharges so arcane echo might help or BUH
